There are countless technical skills that can be mastered to take stunning photographs, but at the end of the day we always remind ourselves that the lives unfolding in front of the camera are most important. One of our greatest and most abstract challenges is to portray not just how a day looked, but how it felt. We want to capture the spirit of people and the nature of their personalities. We would sacrifice a perfect lighting situation or an ideal angle for a sincere expression pretty much every time. With all of this in mind, we’ve collected some of our favorite “moments” of 2014, that had us smiling and brought us right back to when they were taken. Here’s to preserving the joyous moments that pass in the blink of an eye.
